11-year-old Alfonso, heir to Don Quixote, and his 3 imaginary and musical rabbits join Pancho and Victoria to save their beloved city of La Mancha from a severe storm. Links to E.T. (1982). Just watched it in the cinema. Wow, how bad it is. Every few minutes there is a fart joke or something similar. For some reason, there is a mime in the last few walls, just for a cheap laugh. Nobody laughed. Seriously, maybe one of the eight jokes elicited a reaction from the audience, despite the fact that it was mostly children. The animation was mediocre at best. In particular, the main character, Alfonso, looked cheap, as if he bought a model from some library of animation materials. The script and story were devoid of any sensitivity. Some walls just didn’t make any sense. The fictional characters could have played the main role in the film, but were just some weird side plot line. There are many best children’s films.
