A chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer begins manufacturing and selling methamphetamine with a former student to secure his family’s future.. Celebrate fan-favorite Breaking Bad by rewatching some of its most memorable scenes.. During the hiatus caused by the writers’ strike, creator Vince Gilligan, impressed with Aaron Paul’s portrayal of Jesse and the fact that everyone just liked Paul, decided to reinstate the character and give Jesse’s fate to another character in the season 1 finale.. In the opening credits, letters in the names of the cast and crew are highlighted in green to represent symbols for chemical elements. However, the “Ch” in Michael Slovis’ name was highlighted in several early episodes, even though Ch is not a symbol for a chemical element.
In later episodes, only the “C” (for carbon) is highlighted. Walter White: Who are you talking to? Do you know how much I make a year? I mean, even if I told you, you wouldn’t believe it. Do you know what would happen if I suddenly decided to stop going to work?
A company big enough to be listed on the NASDAQ goes bankrupt. Disappears. It ceases to exist, without me. No, you obviously don’t know who you’re talking to, so let me give you a hint. I’m not in danger, Skyler.
A guy opens his door and gets shot, and you think that about me? No! The opening credits use chemical symbols from the periodic table of elements as part of the names: bromine (Br) and barium (Ba) for the title, none for creator Vince Gilligan (except when he gets a V for vanadium), one for the cast and crew members. All episodes were repeated in some territories on an on-demand cable channel, without commercials but with additional scenes not included on AMC. I want to erase my brain and watch it again like I never knew it.
It’s the year 2073, and the worst fears of modern life have been realized. Surveillance drones fill the burnt orange skies and militarized police roam the wrecked streets, while survivors hide away underground, struggling to remember a free and hopeful existence. In this ingenious mixture of visionary science fiction and speculative nonf…
In the midst of an international crisis, Kate Wyler, a career diplomat, lands a high-level job she is ill-suited to, one that has tectonic implications for her marriage and political future. The producers convinced the American and British governments to allow them to use real-life locations as filming locations for the series, including the still-new U.S. Britain allowed filming in the office of the Foreign Secretary, an honor rarely granted to any film or film production, especially an American one.
One missing location was Winfield House, the real residence of the U.S. ambassador. Although it is accurately described as the largest residential estate in London (27 acres) other than Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming.
I voraciously watched The Night Agent and thought it couldn’t get much better, but I was wrong. I loved every second of this series. Everything you could hope for in a series.
The characters and acting were first class. It was so good to see the delightful Rufus Sewell again, and what a role he played, never knowing what he would do next. Keri Russell was absolutely incredible as the ambassador.
All in all, a great series, maybe a little short, but well worth watching. The best political show since The West Wing. Excellent!
Media expert Muncie Daniels must fight for her innocence and her life after she stumbles across a murder deep in the Poconos.. Colman Domingo’s first major TV role.. I watched the entire series. Well shot and directed and engaging. Colman Domingo is simply brilliant! His screen presence and smart, resourceful and confident character make this series really good, good supporting cast and direction, and excellent filming location. However, the series is too long and seems dragged out at the end which spoils it a bit, but that’s more about the story. It’s as if the writers were asked to extend the story for two more episodes. I hope they do another series with Colman’s character, there are some really good idealistic themes running through the writing that could be explored.
Set during the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, September 5th tells the story of an American sportscasting team that quickly adapted from covering sports events to live coverage of Israeli athletes taken hostage.
