What’s new in Windows 11:
– Windows 11 gets a completely new design. Microsoft clearly needs a good reason to retract its previous claims and continue to abandon Windows 10 by introducing a new OS number. And the brand new design is excellent for this. The Redmond giant has been preparing for a long time to redesign the update codenamed Sun Valley (”Sun Valley”) – apparently it went by the name Windows 11. The Sun Valley project has been flashing on the network for a long time – Microsoft regularly published details about the new interface style, insiders shared previously unknown information, and popular designers in their circle drew realistic concepts based on all this.
– Start and system items float above the bottom bar. Start is the calling card and face of every latest version of Windows. It is not surprising that in Windows 11 the developers will transform it again, but not so much functionally as visually – the Start window will float above the bottom bar. We have to admit that this small change makes the system much fresher. Based on information from the network, Microsoft will not radically change the ”inside” of this menu – the innovations will only affect the design of the window itself. The control panel will also float and its design will be exactly the same as in ”Start”. The action center is combined with the control buttons – something similar has been used for a long time in other operating systems. Almost every mention of the new menu suggests that it will be island-like – with controls on one separate panel, notifications on another, and individual items (like the player) on yet another.
– The right angles disappear, the fillet replaces them. In fact, insiders and concept designers disagree on this issue – some are convinced that Microsoft will not change its tradition and keep the right angle, while others are convinced that in 2021 Microsoft will follow the trend of filleting. The latter fits more into the definition of ”all new Windows” – floating menus alone aren’t enough to make a new design truly new. Circles is expected to affect virtually everything in the system, from context menus and system trays to all application windows. It is true that even on this issue the opinions of designers differ – some draw curves in all possible elements of the surface, others combine them with right angles.
– There will be a transparent, blurred background everywhere. There are disagreements on the net about the island style of the window display, the design of the corners and the levitation effect of the menu, but almost everyone agrees on the transparency of the windows. The vast majority of design leaks and renders show transparency and blur in every window, whether it’s at least the Start menu or the Explorer. Moreover, these effects are even included in the assembly of the deleted Windows 10X operating system, which Microsoft developed in parallel with the Sun Valley project for two-screen and weak gadgets. The so-called acrylic transparency means the use of new effects when passing through elements, as well as increasing the gaps between elements – the areas of the surface with which the user interacts will certainly increase, and the page titles will become denser.
– New font that has already been released. Windows 11 will likely use the default Segoe UI Variable responsive font, which was already released in Windows 10 Build 21376 for Insiders. The advantage is that it is equally suitable for small texts and large inscriptions.

This course is divided into 4 segments:

Segment 1: Prepare your Network to install SQL SERVER 2019 on Windows server 2019

Starting from Section 1 to Section 4, you will learn about,

– New features of SQL server 2019

– Understanding the prerequisites to install SQL server 2019 on existing network which we created together in course 1: Set Windows server 2019 network -Microsoft series

– Installing 1st instance of single SQL server 2019, SQL Server Management studio 18

– Perform remote access and create snapshots.

Segment 2 : Get your basics sorted for advance topics

From Section 5 to Section 9, this segment will teach you about fundamentals of database. As an administrator it is required to understand all the terminologies related to databases for better administration of the product. We will learn the basics of following topics:

Module 1: ‘Introduction to Databases’ introduces key database concepts in the context of SQL Server 2019

Module 2: ‘Data Modelling’ describes a number of data modelling techniques.

Module 3: ‘Normalization’ introduces the concept of normalization and describes normalization and denormalization techniques.

Module 4: ‘Relationships’ describes the different types of relationship and their effects in database design.

Module 5: ‘Performance’ describes the effects of database design on performance.

Module 6: ‘Database Objects’ introduces commonly used database object.

Segment 3: Let us perform Hands-on with loads and loads of LABS

Section 10 is very interesting because we have prepared LABS(Project) for you to practice all the concepts that we learned together in Segment 2.

Segment 4: SQL Server 2019 Fail over clustering

Starting from Section 11 we will perform the following LABS

A- Create domain service accounts

B- Install 1st Fail over cluster instance of SQL server 2019

C- Install 2nd Fail over cluster instance of SQL server 2019

D- Test the reliability of SQL Server 2019 Fail over cluster.

E- Move DB from single SQL server 2019 into SQL server 2019 fail over cluster to achieve High Availability.

By finishing this course , you will be prepared and ready to take next Course 12: SQL Server 2019 on Linux & Azure.
